Password Protection to open Outlook 2007?

D

Dennis

I don't want unauthorized people opening my outlook and viewing my calendar,
notes and email when I'm away from my desk.

Is there anyway I can password protect outlook 2007 so nobody can open it
without a passwork?

Thanks for any help with this.

you can password protect the pst - right click on the top level folder and
choose properties, advanced.

The "Advanced" button in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ folder does not allow one to
password protect that folder in Win XP.

Depends. What type of data store?

it does work in winxp, provided you use a pst and not an ost or exchange
acct. If you use exchange, lock the screen when you walk away.
