Password Protecting A Microsoft Access Tab Control

Hello

I only have about 4 months experience in working with access and evan less in vba but i'm trying to do as much as i can. I have the following problem:

The access database has 2 tabs , and i'm trying to password protect one of them. I've tried using the metod described here: http://www.databasedev.co.uk/tab-control.html

there are 2 problems: 1. When inserting the password for unlocking the tab the letters are visible for anyone watching.
2. i can't seem to realise how to hide the controls like mentioned in the second part of the tutorial.

Can anyone help with a bit of advice?
