Password protected Word document

Well, Outlook isn't Word. Even if Word is your e-mail editor, it is not
the e-mail

viewer.  Maybe you are trying to reply to the e-mail so
Word opens as the e-mail editor, but that copy is from the PST file
which Outlook can read, not Word.  Have you even tried saving the
attached file and open it in Word whereupon you'll then have to enter
the password to view it?
