Password Prompt when Publishing - won't accept

I can't seem to find an answer in the support sections.

I am publishing using FrontPage 2000 to an extended
server (with FP extensions) and it prompts me for a
password. I enter in my password and name and it won't
accept it. On the server I was using before, there was
no problem.

It's not a server issue according to my server support
team (and they have looked into it quite a bit).

Please help. I am just trying to get the search to
work.. and note this server is UNIX based.

Have you/they verify that the login/password is exactly what you think it
is, and that the CaSe is being typed correctly?

Yes. I have even tried changing the password and trying
to publish with the new password. Nothing works.
