I've been using whisper for a long time. On many an occasion I have
seen exchanges on this board discussing the "best" such programs;
whisper has never been one. I suppose this is because whisper does
not offer encryption. All of which leads me to my inquiry. I am
assuming encryption, in this context, means no one I don't want to
have my passwords can get them. What I DONT understand is WHO can
gain access to an unencrypted password..or put another way, how can an
unauthorzed person gain access to my passwords?

Can anyone recommend a SIMPLE to use password program which offers
encrypting. Whisper is very simple. All you do is make three
entries. One for the service.....two username adn three password.
Save and next time you want it ..all you do is copy and paste

Could anyone make any suggestin for a program as simple as whisper but
with encryption...

thanks in advance

===== You should not copy and paste, because the password might
remain in Windows clipboard where someone can read........ I use a tiny
program called "PassKeeper" it stores passwords and other info password
protected and encrypted .....

PasswordSafe - Has been Pricelessware for many years.
http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/
Open source, easy to use and secure. I've been using it for years without
problems.

Not a direct answer to your question but for anyone that want a simple
method of enter and remember passwords for web sites.
Using this method you only have to remember one password. You don't have
to create or remember any other. This will do it for you
