password problem?

I recently set all user accounts to need a password, so that on the Welcome
screen, a password must be typed. Ever since doing this, when I turn on the
computer, the computer stays on the "Windows is starting up" screen for at
least 15 minutes eventually bringing up the Welcome screen. Is there a
connection between the slow screen and the passwords? This also happened
several months ago, & I eventually had to reformat..... cannot go throuh that
again. Thanks for your response.

Hi,

I don't think, that there is an connection with them. When you log in
without any password all processes authentication and authorization are
processed in the same way. It was an coincidence or maybe you changed
something elase
