Password Policy

Hello:o)

I can not change the password policy in win2003Ent.
I'm doing some practice and trying to learn win2003
Everytime I create a new user. I've to give hime combination of
lowercase,upercase and number. Even I changed in the GPO at root still i
didn't a to create simple password.

Further more in there any win2003 user groups.

You have to change this policy in either the Default Domain Policy or the
Admin Tools\Domain Security Policy.(They are the same thing) Next on the DC
run net accounts. This is the effective policy concerning passwords. If this
does not show what you have configured in the Default Domain policy then
make sure that you are not blocking policy inheritance on any policy applied
to DCs. Run gpupdate /force and check the application event log for scecli
1704 events(Success).
