password input field

I'm using an input box to get the password from the user and then display or
not some fields.

To display only '*' when they are typing, I can use an unbound form with the
"password" format.

What will be the best way to check the value from the unbound password form?

As long as the form's open, you can refer to the field as
Forms("NameOfForm").Controls("NameOfControl"), or
Forms!NameOfForm!NameOfControl
