Password help

Ok. I finally was able to load windows in 4 hours due to configuration
problems and bluescreens. Anyway i installed a legal copy. I did the setup
where it asks you to put your name and then I skipped everything else since I
was on a keyboard only and no mouse. I didnt get asked to set a password.
When win loads it asks me to choose a user name. Theres only on
ADMINISTRATOR. and it keeps asking me for a password. I click ok since I
didnt enter a password and then says
"the specified domain does not exist or can not be contacted".
Im at my house and not using a domain. Is there anyway out of this.

Also, I didnt activate windows since I was in my room and have no internet
connection there. did that have something to do with it.

I don't understand your problem. If you install a new Windows XP, it should
automatically log in as Owner. If you can back up your files, do it and try
format then install the OS again.
