Password for Outlook

I have lost my password for outlook and now I can't get into Outlook to get
to my mail. I tried the forgot my password route and it takes me to a
solution that doesn't work. Does anyone have a good solution to getting my
password again so I can get back into Outlook?

Not really since otherwise, a password wouldn't offer any protection.
However, you may want to repost (via Newsreader) to the appropriate group:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlook.general

If you are talking about your email password, then call your ISP. They
will be able to reset your password. Then go to your account at the
ISP's website and set the email password to something better. Write it down.

If you are talking about some other kind of password that is particular
specifically to Outlook, post your question in the Outlook newsgroup.
Make sure you include the version of Outlook you are using (Help>About).

What "password for Outlook"? Do you mean your E-mail password?

If so, contact your ISP.
 
It is the MSN password for my Microsoft mail. In Outlook under Accounts, it
has a place for the password so Outlook can go and get the mail. This is the
password that I don't have. Going through the "Forgot Password" steps, it
just doesn't get me anywhere.

As I said, contact your ISP--in this case, MSN.

The tool that 'Singapore' recommends is great but you may get a virus
warning from it, although it is safe to use

Another one on their site is the Protected Storage viewer as that lists
deleted passwords

If you have the password & just need to remove the '*' then that is easily
done too
