Password Check-Box Missing

I have a Windows Media Centre PC that I have to connect to various domains,
when I use the run command \\servername the Connect To box doesn't have the
remember password checkbox which is annoying me to say the least - how do I
get the box to appear please?

First, I'm not sure you would ever get a "remember me" box for a
password on a domain. That would be terrible security in an enterprise.
Second, WinMCE can't become a member of a domain although it can use
domain resources by having a matching user account/password on the
server and authenticating that way.

Actually the remember me box appears quite happily under Windows XP Pro, I do
have a common username/password on the domain with Administrator status,
looks like the mistake I have made is using Media Centre which appears to be
XP Home with add-ons...
