Password Change Policy

Hi

I have recently set a password policy in my company. It is set to expire in
45 days. After 30 days it gives a message saying the it will expire in 15
days and do I want to change it. I know we can just say no everytime but is
there maybe a place to tell it to give this message only 3 or 5 days before
it expires.

thanks

See tip 141 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com
In Windows 2000 and later, you can use Group Policy settings to change when the Password Change Notification is presented.
In Windows 2000, the policy setting is Prompt user to change password before expiration.
In Windows 2003, the policy setting is Interactive Logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration.
