Pass value from one form to NEW record in another form; then again

Hi:

I am using a login screen - the username needs to pass from the login form
to the form used to fill in the data (so we know who filled it out). I need a
new record to open in the form, though, but with the capability to look at
previous records in that form if possible.

Lastly, I need to take that same value from the new record and make it the
default value for all new records during that session. Any ideas or
suggestions?

If you are going to need a value for an entire session, I would suggest that
you use a Public variable.

You would need to declare the Public variable in a Module and it would be
available to all who need it.
