pass thru query problems

I have an Access 97 database that uses pass thru queries.

The pass thru queries work on some computers and on others
it does not. All of the computers have SR-2 installed.

Is their some feature that needs to be installed to run
pass thru queries that may be missing from the initial
installation of Access on these computers?

How is the connection property for the pass-through queries defined?
Assuming it's using a DSN, have you created that DSN on all machines?
