You could have saved some money and run Vista's in-built 'Shrink and Extend'
feature.

Acronis DiskDirector10 is a good choice.

Hello!
You could have saved some money and run Vista's in-built 'Shrink and Extend'
feature.

Does it work with FAT32 (on external hard disks, for example) or Linux (dual-boot PC) partitions ?

Cheers, Roman

The Gparted Live CD works pretty well too.

I'm not entirely sure that Acronis Disk Director 10 (build 2160) supports
Vista-NTFS. The published information is ambiguous.

Disk Director 10.0 build 2160 is 100% compatible with Vista. I have been
using it since it was released. It is just that if you want to work with the
system partition you do so by booting with the boot CD that you create after
installing Disk Director.

From my experience here (2 Vista Ultimate machines), Acronis DD 10 Build
2160 works fine. I've dove partition resizing, deletion and creation with no
issues.
