By downloading it 'illegally'? My video card still hasn't arrived yet but
should be shortly; we had to send a money order so that is taking us a few
extra days, and it doesn't help that it's in Canada instead of the U.S. I
am hoping that it arrives by the weekend.
Here's how the partitioning ended up:
80GB C: - Windows XP (not affected)
120GB partitioned
D: - 55.89GB (will be Vista)
E: - 55.88GB (Storage)

Ok, install Vista and post your experience. :)

I installed Beta 1. It was purdy. No flip windows though. It was near
useless from an operational point of view. I also wondered if I should
bother with trying to learn how to program for it at that point. Then I
realized I should just stick to what I was doing and pretty much forget
about it until a much "surer" Beta comes out. I will probably try the Beta 3
[or whatever its name will be] when it comes out in April and released to
the public.
