I've just installed a 320MB LaCie drive and I want to create a 50MB
logical partition but when I go to Control Panel/Performance &
Maintenance/Disk Management I can't see any option to create a partition
(XPH+SP2). I've tried r/clicking on any drive and none of them give me
this option. Has my XP taken a dive or am I missing something? I suppose
I could use the XP disk but I'd rather not.
Thanks.l

Yes, you are missing something. The drive already has one partition
on it that takes up the entire drive. You need to delete that partition
and create two new ones to get what you want, and that will lose
the data that is already on the drive if there is any already on the drive.

It wont help on that.

You're right of course. It was so long since I did this that I'd
forgotten.

Thanks Rod.
