Partial product ID

My PC crashed and the msg was Windows2000 Root>system32
\ntoskrnl.exe is missing. I have tried r einstalling but
the product ID code has been ripped from the bottom ofthe
laptop . I have two full groups of rom the ID and other
product codes. How can I recover the full set of coding.

With what happened to you, there are two options.
1. You will need to contact the support line of your vendor and request a
new prodct ID. A large fee may be charged

2. Buy a new copy of windows.

When you have the code, COPY IT DOWN, and STORE IT IN A SECURE LOCATION
