I am the parent. It is a Norton security thing, i think. I want to delete

Check the help files in the Norton product.
I doubt you can remove it but you can disable it and the help files will
tell you exactly what to do.

Ah! Then I'd suggest seeking assistance from Symantec's tech support;
I'm not familiar with such a product.
