Parameter Values

I currently have a query with to Calculated fields, I am looking to add these
two fields together to give me a total. However everytime I do this I get a
parameters value box. As there anyway round this.

You probably have tried to sort by the new field or used criteria for it.
If so, try to repeat the formulas of the two fields in the total formula.

I may have the wrong end of the stick. doe the query calculate to two
values, if so try creating another query based on that query to get the value
you want
