parameter values in reports

every now and then I pull up a report and it requests a parameter value. How
do I elimate this pop up and just make it a clean report.
 
Somewhere in your report you must have a field name that is not present in
the data source. You will have to locate it and use the correct field name to
stop the message occurring. You may be able to find it by putting in a
parameter (maybe test data) and seeing where it appears on the report. HTH
