Paradox problem

Hi

I'm using Access 2007, and trying to import paradox table.

When i go to External data -> more -> import -> paradox file,

i get error "External table is not in the expected format".

The database should be paradox 7 compatible, and i am able to open it in
another program.

How should i proceed?

Is there any way i can open and edit the paradox table with any MS Office
products?

Thanks!

I seem to recall that MS dropped the ability to connect to Paradox a version
or so back.

Do you have to leave the data in Paradox, or could you, as your post
suggested, import the data?

If the latter, what about the idea of exporting from Paradox into some more
common format that Access CAN import?

I have a hunch that you could also find resources on-line, but they might
cost more than you're willing to spend...

Good luck!

Hi

I have received only the .db file.

Is there any way i could edit it with any Office products?

I've tried access and excel, but to no avail.

I'm not aware of a way to "break into" the .db format using an Office
product (unless you have an older version of Access).

You still have the option of locating a for-pay service that can/will
'translate' that...
