Paper Report... leave field blank if already filled in

I have a report that fills in Death certificate. It works great.
However, sometimes we receive the death certificate with some of the
fields already filled in. How can I design a report that would be able
to leave whatever field already filled in - blank for the purpose of
filling in the report perfectly.

p.s.
it's a paper report...that is why it has some of the fields already
filled in.
