My cannon printer displays the message: paper jam, I have removed, and
cleaned it thoroghly. still is not working and the power light keeps
blinking. Any ideas what's wrong. thanks

What model printer? Usually this means that there is still some paper hung
up in the works. Occasionally, it's because of a stripped gear or other
problem preventing the paper advance hardware from working.

Count the number of blinks. Depending on the model, this is a code to tell
you what's wrong.

canon pixma 1500. I run a sheet of blank paper and it did freely, after inspecting it carefully, could not find anything stuck. Any other suggestions what should I try, grazie

4 constant blinkings, stop and then reapeats 4 more times. It's a model canon pixma 1500 what's the meaning?

For future reference, you should have the manual on the CD that came
with your printer.

Four flashes: Ink tanks installed incorrectly

Reinstall the ink tanks. Ensure that the tanks are firmly seated in the
print head
