I would like to know if Panda antivirus software is compatability with
Windows Vista. I heard Panda was a good antivirus software. I now use norton
and don't like it.

Let's see now. I did two things. A Google search using "panda vista". The
first link it brought up was

http://www.pandasoftware.com/vista/

from the company. You could have found the information faster and in a few
seconds if you did a search.

But to answer your question: Yes

Remove Norton from your system as it is bloatware, causes all sorts of
problems with everything you do. Stay away from McAfee also.

Another good virus (FREE also) is AVAST. It works well with Vista.

I'm not sure about Panda, you can try AVG or Avast, both are compatible
and both have free versions so if you don't like one, you've lost
nothing and you can try the other:

AVG: http://free.grisoft.com/
Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

I don't blame you for not liking Norton, be sure it's uninstalled,
completely uninstalled or you may have problems.

Check Symantec's website:

Hey monkeybrain... you know panda and you recommend it?

You say Norton is bloat yet you say vista is not? YOU ARE CRAZY and an idiot
of course!

FYI panda is another piece of bloatware... it installs too many services and
grabs your computer like a hungry octopus.

combine it with vista that is another bloatware...and your computer will
crawl in no time.

I suggest use XP and AVAST and get rid of the horrible bloatware..including
vista.

I also recommend spankymonkey to go back to the jungle and leave
computerland forever.

Are you THAT stupid? You can't even comprehend what I wrote. I didn't
recomend panda to the guy. I just answered his question. If you read his
question, which you might not be able to do so I suggest getting someone to
READ it to you. I also recommend Carl uninstall any Windows product and
install Ubuntu. Leave windows.vista.general and head over to
primate.retard.general where you belong.

Get it - Douchebag? Just FYI.

That is a condescending way of reply to a request, a plain YES would have
been enough.

You need to get educated. Panda runs as sweet as a nut and does not such
thing. It has one of the most easy to set up systems and sits quietly doing
it job of virus and firewall protection.

i used both norton and panda,, and both use lots of resourses,, and
slows down the system... i would use avg free,, or avast,,they dont use
much memory and work in vista. i am running avg free on both xp home and
vista ultimate and have no probs.

You are wrong of course.

The difference is marked.

Panda is full resourced while ANG and Avast are not unless you get the pro
version.

yeah panda is a hog as well.. i notice my mem usaged after removing it
.it used about 40 to 50 mb avg uses about 8 mb ,,,a big difference.
also trend micro pc chillin another mem hog. as it runs alot of
instances in the background.

Any worthwhile protection software uses resources. Up your resources and
keep safe is my advice.
