Palm

I have a Tungsten T - I am trying to synchronized with
Outlook. Software is loaded and cradle is connected using
USB port. I have tried this while the laptop is docked -
I have tried it undocked. This is the 2nd new Palm I
tried. The USB port does work with the floppy but can not
find the Palm. I checked event viewer and the only error
that comes up is i8042prt event ID 27. The operation on
timed out(time out is configurable via the registry). This
comes up everytime I try to hot sync. (since Dec.) Dell
says it is a Palm thing Palm says it is a Dell thing.
Another laptop purchased at the same time and the same
type of Palm is doing fine. Any suggestions???

Suggest that you try this palm with the other laptop and
the other palm with your laptop - should indicate where
the problem is!

Have you tried a different usb cable?
