I just got a pc with Vista on it and the copy and paste function doesn't work
in MS-Paint. Can anyone help?

Hey Krusty--

I've seen that only under two transient circumstances.

1) Not enough resources corrected by killing a few services or processes or
even browser windows or folder windows.

2) Try running SFC to correct the possibility that you can replace MS-Paint
files if they are corrupted.

Type cmd into search above start>rt. click it and select run as admin> at
the cmd prompt type in sfc /scnnow.

HMM I just used it a couple of times the other day and it worked just fine
for me. How did you copy/paste? I used Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrn + V to
paste into Paint.

You must have the 'Select' icon selected to be able to paste in Paint.

This is not the worst chnage introduced in Vista paint - the Save As option
now OVERWRITES the previous file if all you change is the file type !!!!!
