PAINT Has to be connected? to a printer?

Hello,
Do I have to have a printer connected to this
computer just to select the Landscape option when
Portrait is already the default selected in WinXP Paint??

Why do you ask? Do you get an error when changing to the Landscape
option under File -> Page Setup?

You could always add the Genric/Text printer driver. This is useful even if
you have not got a printer as it allows you to output text to a file. May
cure your other problem, but then again....

Note that having the "Generic/Text" printer as your default printer
has been known to cause problems with the fonts in Office ('97 IIRC,
but may happen with other versions); if this happens, add any old
printer as your default and all should be happiness and light again.
