I'm trying out VS 05 Std, and cannot find the PageLayout feature of
asp.net web forms. I have to use the spacebar & tab to get my controls to
where I want them on the form. :( Isn't there a way to get the GridView
back!?!?!?!???? This is driving me crazy, and would instantly keep me from
upgrading.

Hi,

Go to the tools menu and select options -> HTML designer -> CSS
Positioning. Make sure the change positioning to the following for controls
added etc.. is checked and set the combobox to absolutely positioned.

Thank you! I couldn't find that documented anywhere. Do you happen to know
how to actually get a dotted grid shown so you can have a visual grid as
well?

Also, I don't know whether this is a bug... When I went to Tools - Options,
only 4 or 5 categories were shown not including HTML Designer. I then found
under the Layout menu the Positioning category and I clicked on another sub
item. This pulled up the Options dialog again, but it showed about 9
categories of settings including the HTML Layout. I would have thought that
the Tools - Options would have done this to begin with.

Anyway, thanks again!!!
