pagefile.sys

I get an error after Login about Windows has a problem
with the pagefile.sys so it is creating a temppf.sys.
I've followed the advice on
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;140472 but I still get the error. I've changed the min
& max file size numerous times and alwo went into the
registry but nothing seems to take the error away. I
changed the location of pagefile to the Winnt folder and
deleted the pagefile.sys from the root directory but this
didn't have any effect. What can I try now?

Did you tighten security on the computer? If the system
doesn't have sufficient access level, it can't create/use
the pagefile no matter how big the pagefile is. I had a
manager do this. He had access but "SYSTEM" didn't. If you
give yourself "full control" you still need SYSTEM to
create/control the pagefile.
