I have been asked to move a pagefile.sys from the C drive to the D drive. can
this be done please?
 
Sure.

Right-click MY COMPUTER, Click PROPERTIES

Click the ADVANCED tab

Click the PERFORMANCE OPTIONS button

Click the CHANGE button

Select D from the top List & Click the SET button

Click the OK button

Click the next OK button

Click APPLY (if needed) & Click OK.

You will need to restart your computer.
