Pagefile.sys deletion.

Whenever I use the recovery console in XP Home, my pagefile.sys gets
deleted. Is this a feature or bug?

Feature I think. You do not need a pagefile for the recovery console,
and there is always a chance that its content was damaged - a new one
will get made at next normal boot
