You can reset the pagefile via the Registry **but please backup the Registry before trying this**
Navigate to the following key in the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management (ClearPageFileAtShutdown) - double click and set the value to 1.
