pagefile problem

I tried to switch the pagefile to my e drive. dinged aruond awhile and
now it showes NO pgefile on any drive.

i have two drives: drive one is partitioned in two so i have drives c,d,
& e. I tried to put the pgefile on e.

When I try and put one on any drive in any way my puter reboots as soon
as I close performance options. It seems to accept the "set" command. I
got an error code on reboot once then got sick of trying.

Looking on the drives, there is no pagefile.sys. How can this be?
Computer seems to work ok so far.

Not sure what to do now

Never mind. I did it in safe mode and it's fine now.
