Page transition

Karsten Wright

Greetings,

I have created a Dynamic Effect (Zoom In), in a page on my web site,
however, I cannot view this effect in Preview in Browser nor on the actual
web site when opened.

Have Windows XP Pro and FP 2002.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Karsten Wright

Could be a few things.
I believe page transitions only work in IE.

The question is: Why can I not view and test (in FP) the dynamic effect
created. I have IE?

URL: WWW.almondblossom.co.uk

Click on "properties" and then on "Feature Properties". The opening page is
where the dynamic effects should occur.

Thanks in advance.

I've never used page transitions but you can give this a try...

move the last meta up so it's the first meta

your existing html:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-gb">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 6.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">

<title>Feature properties</title>
<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter"
content="revealTrans(Duration=3.0,Transition=2)"> {move this line up}

| created. I have IE?
|
| URL: WWW.almondblossom.co.uk
|
| Click on "properties" and then on "Feature Properties". The opening page

|
| Thanks in advance.

Do you have IE configured to allow page transitions, etc. under Internet Options | Security or
Advanced?

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing

I cannot find any specific reference in IE - Options / Security or advanced
to "Page transitions etc." Could you be a bit more specific?

However, when I type http://www.almondblossom.co.uk/featureprops.html into
the address bar in IE I clearly see the Dynamic Effect:Zoom In.
Consequently I assume that my IE settings are OK.
But still unable to see the effects in FP and when entering my site directly
in IE.

Any further comments appreciated.
Saludos for now.

You must view your site from a web server, especially if you are running Windows XP with Service
Pack 2 installed in order to see any active content.

Thanks Thomas,
I am not quite sure exactly what you mean. Could you please elaborate
further.

Thanks.
