Page Refresh

Dear All,

I have faced a very strange problrm in my ie6 (WinXP).
when I open an ie page and start searching an internet, I
get the "No page to Display" page. However, when I click
the refresh button for several times, the page shows up!!
I tried with the ping command and saw there is always a
connection to out world. So, this implies that there is
something wrong with my internet explorer. I install it
again, but problem still exists.

Any idea about that???

Thanks

Ehsan

Not necessarily. It could be your DNS. Or it could be the site.
Or it could be either of those factors at a redirected site.

Instead of using ping, which is actually testing the wrong protocol
and is likely to be blocked by many sites these days, try using
telnet 80 (assuming protocol is HTTP). If the screen clears
that means that you have found an HTTP server at the site.
If you're lucky at that point you can try typing GET /
(That's GET<space><slash><Enter>)
to see what requests for its default page get.
If its a redirect you could try entering that URL in your IE Address bar.

Etc.

Good luck
