page properties for opened thumbnail

How do I edit page properties for an opened thumbnail on a web site? When
viewing the site and clicking on the thumbnail, it opens in another window.
How can I edit that page it opens up in? It is defaulted to opening the
image on a white page and left justified. I want to add colour to that page
and center the photo.

Thanks.

When you click on the thumbnail, it doesn't open a page, it just displays
the full-size image - check the URL. You can't change how it displays.

So you need to make a page for the larger image and then link the thumbnail
to that 'real' page.

Hi Kathleen,
Actually it opens in: about:blank which is a default "new document"

Type: about:blank in Start >Run and click OK.

It requires using some javascript to pass info to the new page that opens.
The page that the image shows in is actually named: about:blank
Type about:blank in Start > Run and click OK and a blank page opens.

That said, download and install the free addin named Spawn from www.jimcoaddins.com
It will help you do what you want.

It's not a real page...you're just viewing the image in a blank winda.
Same as if you typed in the url to the image itself to view it.

Oops, I was wrong.
I was thinking about opening a new window.document with a script.

Right. Because there is no source; it's not a web page, it's an image.
