page previews as code

I have created a logon site using microsoft online templates. When I preview in browser, then click the link to the logon page, it comes up as code. Help? Thanks.

what is the file extension on the page that comes up as code? this web is
on a server or in "my webs" or another hard drive location?

asp pages (and other server side scripting languages) can only run on a
server.
you'll need to put this on a server based web to see it run.

Yes, if you publish to a Windows IIS server.
