I created a document using Word 2000 on another computer. In the footer I have:

Page # of #'s with the # being page number codes supplied by Word. I am
editing the documents at home now and the page numbers show up 1 of 3, 2 of
3, and 3 of 3 on screen and print preview but when I pring the pages they
print 1 of 1, 2 of 2 and 3 of 3. Didn't have this problem until I tried to
print them at home.
I have tried deleting the code, closing the document and then reopening and
inserting the code. That has not fixed the problem.

What causes this and what do I need to do to fix it?

Thank you.

Just to check you have got the correct codes, go to the footer or wherever
you've put the page number codes and press ALT+F9, do you see the codes
{PAGE} and {NUMPAGES}? Sometimes field codes may not update as you print, if
you click on the Options button in the Print window you can tick the Update
Field Codes box to force fields to update as you're printing.
