Dear all,
I've generated a table of contents (TOC) in a master document with 10
subdocuments. My problem is the folowing:

The page number in the prologue of my master document are in roman numbers,
and in the remaining chapters are in arabic algarism. My problem is that when
I generate the TOC the page number that show up in the TOC for one whole
chapter and three subsections in another chapter show up in roman numbers,
inspite of them all being in arabic in the respective chapter and subsection.

Any suggestions for references and/or how to debugg this will be most
welcomed. I've tried looking at the code (ALT-F9), and there is nothing
obsviusly different for my untrained eyes on them.

JP, you have just encountered one of the numerous problems using a master document. Most of the MVPs here will tell you not to use that feature because it's excessively buggy. Try having all the sub documents expanded and make sure that "same as previous" isn't clicked on any of the footers where the page # appears.
