I am trying to set the page margins for a tax receipt
report. There are 3 receipts per page. The bottom
margin is the issue. I want to change it to a smaller
setting but the system wont let me.

Is there a way in Access to force a margin to ignore the
printer default margin settings.

Have tried tools, options, general tab and have set the
bottom margin to default to 0, and this did not work.

Please help!

Thanks
Annie

If this is a dot matrix then you can send control codes to fix the problem.
If not then all you can do is set the margins to zero and let the printer
have it's way. These are hardware issues, the printer will *not* print that
area.

As Mike mentioned, the printer won't print that area even if you do get the
setting changed. If the printer is a color ink jet, I've seen some that need
a larger bottom margin when printing in color than when printing in b&w or
gray scale. You may try changing the printer's settings to see if that will
allow a smaller margin.
