page header group field

i need to repeat the grouping names so i moved those fields into the page
header section. The header does not show the proper group until the second
page of that group. thanks for any help.

If I understand you correctly, simply set the Group Header's Repeat
Section property to Yes.

i have a group w/ a sub-group. i put the fields for the groupings in the page
header so that they would repeat on every page. The problem is that the
group name does not change until the second page of the new group. (that is,
the first page of the next grouping still reads the previous group, on the
second page of the next group's section it reads the proper group) ). sorry
to be so confusing.

i tried your advice about the the repeat section when i had the groups in
their own sections - but got a repeating group field on the first page of the
next group's section.

ahhhh- the answer lies in the groups' footer properties - needed to force
pagebreak after section.
