Page footer will not drop to lengthen report

I'm trying to make a 3 page report, and up until now, when I needed to add
another section, I just dragged the page footer bar down and the report
expanded length. Now it doesn't want to descend below 22." I've closed the
file & Access and re-opened Access & the report, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Karl,

Because that is the maximum length of the report. You might get around that
with subreports. I can't speak on that s I've never had a report that long.

I did find another post that described it a little further. I'll see if I
can make that work.

Hi,
I created a subreport with the final 3 inches I needed. I included in that
subreport the last inch of the original report, which made an inch of space
free at the end, into which I could then insert the subreport.

It was a little unclear how to insert the subreport into the main report,
but I found from other posts that you make visible a small database window
over the report and by dragging the new subreport into the bottom of the main
report, I was able to make my report the size I wanted (about 23.75").
