page cannot be displayed gets redirected!

Whenever I hit a page that cannot be displayed, the "Page
Cannot Be Displayed" page gets redirected to some awful
search site. I lose what I had in the address bar & it
drives me bananas.

I tried to block the site but that doesn't work because it
just redirects to a sister site. I don't want to be
redirected at all!
