For the past week we have been unable to access avon.com. Previously we had
no problems with it. We are not experiencing this problem with any other
page. We have five machines connected to a router and none of the five are
able to access the site but I can at home.

What is the precise symptom / error message seen when you are "unable to access
avon.com"?

Check your MTU settings, to start.

Please provide ipconfig information for one of the work computers, and for the
computer at home.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, make sure that Format - Word Wrap is
NOT checked!, copy and paste entire contents into your next post. Identify
operating system (by name, version, and SP level) with each ipconfig listing.

And Glenn, posting your email address openly will get you more unwanted email,
than wanted email. Learn to munge your email address properly, to keep yourself
a bit safer when posting to open forums. Protect yourself and the rest of the
internet - read this article.

Well, just a few weeks ago, we could all access MSN, hotmail, yahoomail,
gmail etc at work - guess what, we can't no more - employer implemented a
policy to block certain websites via our Proxy Server - these were the
beginning, they've since added ESPN, FoxSports, Victoria Secrets, etc -
employer's take - its their computers, their network, their bandwidth and
their time, and they can dictate what you can/can not see when on their
dime.
