Page breaks in sub reports

Is it possible to place a page break in a subreport?
I have a large report which is built from a number of subreports. The sub
reports have page breaks in them but when printing the main report the page
breaks do not seem to be recognised.
I am using A2K.

Subreports don't know anything about pages including headers, footers,
breaks, events,...

So if I have a report that is about 15 pages that requires page breaks at
defined points I cannot do it in Access. I can't design it as a single
report because it is limited to about 2 and a half pages in length and if I
do it as seperate reports the page numbering will not be correct.

I'm not sure what your specific requirements are, however, I don't expect
your requirement is "include page breaks in subreports". I would expect your
requirement to describe a final layout or display of your records.

You may be able to achieve your end results using a solution that doesn't
involve "page" stuff in subreports.

The report I need to generate is a contract. There are many check boxes and
text fields and I have coded lines that score out items so that the finished
report would look exactly like a preprinted form. It is about 20 pages long
and the page breaks need to be at specified points. Some of the text can
grow and may overflow to a second page and that is ok as long as pages that
neeed to start a fresh start on the top of a new page.
I cannot do this as a sinlge report. If I do it as subreports I can get the
page numbering to work by having the page number on the main report but I
can't get the subreports to break at the correct positions. I have been
working on a solution where every page is a seperate sub report.

Instead of attempting to page break a subreport, can you use two subreports
with a break between them?

This is what I am doing but some of the sub reports have to have page breaks
in them. I have now constructed the report with a separate sub report for
each page but I then have to make sure that none of the pages run onto a
second page because the page numbering would be incorrect.
