page break

Yes, I'm a newbie. Created a database of my DVD collection. My first report
(a simple alpha sort by movie title) works fine, but now I want to force a
page break for each letter of the alphabet, ie all movies starting with "A"
in first section |page break| all movies starting with "B" | etc. Any
suggestions?

1. Open your report in design view.

2. Open the Sorting And Grouping dialog.

3. Choose the Movie Title field, and in the lower pane of the dialog, set
these properties:
Group Header: Yes
Group On: Prefix Characters
Group Interval: 1
This gives you a group header on your report.

4. On the next row of the dialog, choose the Movie Title field again, so it
sorts by the title.

5. Right-click the grey bar on your report for the Movie Title Header, and
choose Properties.

6. Set the section's Force New Page property to:
Before Section
