Package Wizard

I deployed an access app created using the pkg wizard, I am running into
problems when I try to deploy updates.

When I try to install the update I get an error message that says there is
old version of the app and I need to go to control panel to remove it.

Is there a way I can remove the old version before installig the updates
using the package wizard?

Please help.

My only experience is with an app that doesn't have any special requirements
(extra DLL libraries, etc.) On my initial install, I run the install wizard
to install the runtime version of access and the appl. Once that's done, I no
longer create new packages. WHenever I have a new version of the appl, I just
replace the old .mdb file with the new one. Maybe what I'm doing isn't the
standard way of going about it, but it works and it's very simple. As for
removing old versions, I think you'd do that thru Window's standard
Add/Remove Programs function - I think when you deploy packages it basically
creates a new Windows appl.
