I made a slide show using OS Windows XP & PPT 2003. The way I understood the
"Package for CD" feature, I should be able to save my .pps file to a folder,
zip it up, upload it to my server via an FTP thus making it available for
online distribution. I also understood that the "package" feature includes
the PPT Viewer (which i double checked my folder and it is infact in there)
which would enable those without PowerPoint and/or older OS systems to
download and watch the slide show as intended. Well it doesnt work. One
person went to microsoft and independantly downloaded the viewer, re-opened
the file and the slide show did NOT play as intended. Those that have
Windows XP w/powerpoint have no problems viewing the show as intended.
Please help.
