".pab" help needed

-- I have a back up CD from a past site I was stationed at and need to pull

info off it. The back up is from my old outlook box. The file comes up as
..pab, and I can't get my outlook to open it now.

No version of Outlook has used a PAB for nearly a decade. You neglected to
mention your version. It matters.

copy it to the hard drive, make sure the file is not marked read only and
open it in outlook (tools, accounts) or import it.
